Weekend mode … on

It is not a secret that we are all waiting for the weekend starting from Tuesday, but sometimes starting from Monday. No matter how much we like our job, we have it becomes monotonous from time to time, and the weekend becomes the goal en route to our highlight of the week.

This past weekend for me was definitely a goal—a goal of how every weekend should be.

It was relaxing, entertaining and eventful. It all started with me and my friends having dinner at Oak Tuscan Truffle Lounge, where every single dish on the menu had different types of truffles. I am a big fan of truffles in all shapes and forms. I took only picture of the dessert because of how delicious the main course and appetizers were, we ate it with a speed of a lightening.

Oak Truffle Lounge is owned by an amazing couple from Tuscany Rudy and Lana and has been open for almost 5 years. I have never had a more amazing chocolate lava cake with white truffles. I have been a big fan of truffles for many years, however chocolate lava cake with white truffles was my first. Oh my god it was a real treat.

I love mixing city life and city outings with exploring cozy suburban places, hence on Friday I a have decided to explore one of my favorite towns in New Jersey which is called Montclair. Montclair is a home to a vast amount of an amazing and world- class restaurants. It is one of my favorite towns in New Jersey because of it’s night life, arts and music scene.

That Friday night I picked Samba Montclair- a restaurant that looked as a perfect mix of Brazilian and Tulum cultures. The place was phenomenal. It is located t 7 Park Street in Montclair serving authentic Brazilian, certified gluten free, mouthwatering dishes, with warm and sophisticated ambiance. Everything we’ve ordered was unique and mind-blowingly delicious.
